The "Cylinder-Bed" Lockstitch machines are normally used in the production of hand bags, purses, footwear, upholstery, caps, and orthopedic products.

The Cylinder Bed sewing machines are mostly used to reach into smaller places where a flat bed sewing machine is just not practical. This model is a Compound Needle Feed Walking Foot with Reverse feed. Uses a Big bobbin Rotating Hook and a size "M" bobbin.

On top of the The is a dial operated knob. When turned from a smaller number to a large number, the step of the presser foot is increased. This feature causes the machine to step up to an obstacle and then to walk over the seam or welt cord or obstacle. The presser feet lifting lever is placed on the front of the machine making lifting the feet by hand far simpler than pervious models.

2618-1B
The 2618-1B leather model is designed to stitch any type of leather with a quality stitch formation and without damaging the leather in any way. The 2618-1B sews from a piece of paper thickness up to a little over 3/8" of leather compressed. The machines will easily sew from size 33 up to 207 threads.

The 2618-1B Cylinder Arm Compound Needle Feed, Walking Foot Sewing Machine mechanism reduces ply slippage and produces equal distant stitches on automotive upholstery, leather, webbing, and heavy products. The 2618-1B is primarily designed for auto trimmers, artisans, leather-crafter's, upholsters, and industrial sewing operations. 2698-1 is a Cylinder-Bed, Compound Needle Feed, Walking Foot “Scuff” Feed Machine with a “L” size Bobbin and Rotating Hook. Synchronized Binder System, Reverse Feed for Back-Tacking. The Machine Sews up to 3/8” with a 9/16” high presser foot lift. Available with the EP Pedestal Motor Drive Unit and SR-2 Speed Reducer. For Stitching: Binding on Hats, Bags, Wallets, Webbing, Canvas, Boots and Shoes and many other products. The machine is designed to apply tape or ribbon binding to the edge of fabrics.

29-172 SB
The 29-172 is known as a Short Arm Single Needle Lockstitch, Universal Feed Sewing machine with an 12 1/2" long Cylinder Arm and a small bobbin Oscillating Shuttle. The 29-172 machine has a long needle bar stroke and will sew up to 1/4" of leather or fabrics. As with all Universal feed machines the feeding presser foot turns in 360 degrees which allows the machine to sew in any direction.

The 29-172, sewing area up to approximately 12". Cylinder width 7/8". The extra large balance wheel can be mounted either on the end of the main shaft or on the front of the machine. 29-172 series machines are designed and manufactured to quietly and smoothly stitch smaller sized leather, canvas, nylon, webbing, belts, tack, harness, and other types of heavy and light duty industrial and consumer products including stitching on patches and emblems on shirts and jackets.

29-273 BB
The 29-273 is known as a Long Arm Cylinder Bed, Universal Feed Patching machine. This model has a large bobbin and the cylinder is 18" in length. All the features of the long arm machine are similar to the short arm except for the length of the cylinder and that the bobbin in this model is larger and holds more thread. Sews up to 1/4" leather with a 9/16" high presser foot lift. The29-273 BB series machines have a long needle bar stroke.

The 29-273 the extra large balance wheel can be mounted either on the end of the main shaft or on the front of the machine. Sewing area up to approximately 18". Cylinder width 1 5/32". Available with the Artisan EP Pedestal Motor Drive Unit and SR-2 Speed Controller. Other Sub Classes are Available. Recommended Needle: Schmetz 135 x 16 #14 to #24 Standard #22. TORO 4000 LA-25, TORO 4000 LA-37, TORO 4011 LA-37

models TORO 4000 LA-25, TORO 4000 LA-37, TORO 4011 LA-37 series machines are Heavy Duty Long Arm Cylinder Bed Lockstitch Sewing Machines. The stitchers are designed to sew heavy weight products with an adjustable length stitch regulator, oscillating shuttle, and a reverse feed mechanism. All models use the same #794 needles and bobbins. The heavy stitchers are designed to sew from a very short stitch length up to 3 stitches per inch.

The TORO 4000 LA stitchers are intended for stitching on medium-heavy to extra heavy weight textiles and leathers such as golf bags, saddle pads and blankets. The long arm machines are also used for stitching high temperature blankets to keep industrial machinery warm in extreme climates and for stitching and quilting very large ordnance protective blankets and shields. The TORO-4011 LA-37 is another HEAVY DUTY 37" Long Arm Cylinder-Bed machine, but it sews "UP-THE-ARM". The machine sews from the end of the cylinder towards the hand wheel. Most machines sew from front to rear of the machine away from the operator. The TORO 4011 LA-37 with its 37" cylinder arm is designed to stitch left to right from the end of the cylinder towards the hand-wheel. In reverse the machine sews off-the-arm. The TORO 4011 LA-37 is a Drop Feed Long Arm Lockstitch Machine. It is not a walking foot system.

Will sew up to 5/8" of material for items such as golf bags, luggage, bags, tents, sails, parachutes, umbrellas and other products where transverse (sideways) stitching is necessary.

The 4608 series are Compound Needle Feed Walking Foot Machines. Two sub classes are available. A single needle and a double needle version., model 4608-2. Both models have a 7'' post bed and use Large Rotating Hooks

The 4699 is similar to the model 6191 single needle tall post bed machine. the needle of this Compound Needle Feed Walking Foot machine is located to the right side of the rotating hook. Hook on the left. The advantage of this machine is that the 17" tall post is hinged and is able to tilt forward towards the operator to load and unload bulky items under the presser foot without damaging your work.

Many of the spare parts are interchangeable with a Singer model 51 class.

The 5120 is a simple to operate "double" needle post bed lockstitch machine with a 7" tall post and a drop feed system with a feed dog. . The roller type presser foot is mounted to the left side of the needles. The machine is an updated modern style with a dial type stitch regulator and has a level operated reverse mechanism for back tacking. Several needle gauges are optionally available.

Both machines offer:

The 6191-1L and 6191-1R series are Compound Needle Feed Walking Foot Machines with an extremely tall 17" post bed. Several sub classes are available.

Four classes of single needle machines similar to the model 4518 series are available, and one double needle version, model 6191-2B. All themodels use Large Rotating Hooks with size "G" bobbins. The machine mechanisms are similar to the 4400/4420 series flat beds, except are tall post bed versions. Reverse feed and a dial stitch-length regulators are standard. Available standard needle gauges are 8 mm and 9.5 mm.
